OUR PROGRAMS

The programs are designed to actively engage youth in the arts. They incorporate theatre, movement, art, and even a hint of STEM as we are moving towards STEAM! For our programs, we have three objectives:

1. The participant is in an environment where they feel safe, accepted, and free to be creative.

2. The participant is able to develop social skills, analyze the work and how it's applicable to them.

3. The participant is able to enjoy the arts and continue to seek artistic opportunities/education.

What is unique about our program is that it can be modified so everyone can participate because we believe in an "arts for all" mindset. It also combines different learning styles. Ultimately, there is something for everyone! We also work with virtual formats.

What they entail?

Each program includes at least 2 activities that will range from 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes depending on the program and participant number. We provide all of the supplies, you will just need a writing utensil and an open mind! An evaluation form will be available for students to express how effective the activity was as a whole.

Art & Exploration

Red Oil Painting

A fun activity that combines physical elements and analysis to interpret art. Students will have the opportunity to bring a painting to life and develop a group piece that explores different perspectives on how we view art.

Power of Play

Kids Playing Tug of War

Let's Play! A series of games that keep students moving, engaged, and stir creativity. Students will then work together in groups to create their own game, establishing the goal, rules, and putting it to the test!

Characters at Work

Opera Actor

Characters play an important role in a piece. Whether it is a book, play, or in a painting, there may be a story behind who they are. Students will take a look at character development and then create their own. We will tap into given circumstances, objectives, action, and tactics.

Lights, Camera, Action!

Childrens Show

Are you ready to put on a show? Students will have the opportunity to perform a scene from a play. We will utilize costumes, props, and other elements of theatre.

Kids with Capes

Public Speaking is one of the biggest fears people face. Students will have the chance to find and become in tune with their voice as we work through vocal warm ups, breath, monologues, and more...

Mixed Media

There are so many things you can create with paints, thread, magazines, and more! Especially when you mix them together...

Students can choose between two projects:
