ABOUT
Hello!
My name is Chastity and I am the founder of Spotlight Our Youth. I hope through this website, you are able to find everything you need regarding what SOY is about and what we have to offer. I created this initiative because I grew up in a community where the arts were easily accessible. I knew that I would be able to find dance, music, art, and other classes. However, when I moved the opportunity to participate in these things decreased due to a lack of artistic resources. With Spotlight Our Youth, I am creating resources beyond the stage, building partnerships with organizations, and finding funding for arts education programs so every child has access to the arts!

MY STYLE OF TEACHING
I'm an advocate for uplifting the voices of our youth. One may be small, but their voice is mighty. As our world progresses, our youth are becoming more informed about what is happening in the world. My goal is to be a part of their journey to explore what kind of leader they will be in this world, through an artistic approach. There are three points I work on in my approach: education, application, and reflection.
